Sorry folks, you're going to have to use your imagination to 'see' the picture for this post! I'm currently doing my practicum (teaching with an experienced teacher) delivering a grade 10 history class and a grade 12 World & The West. Today Mike was my guest speaker ~ dressed up as Karl Marx! My students loved him! He did the German accent too! My students understand Marxist theory so much better due to Mike's awesome performance! I just wanted to blog just how awesome my husband is!!!! Hello Folks!

Sorry for neglecting the site, however it's crunch time at school! I've handed in all of my assignments (yeah!) and only have an Educational Psychology exam to write tomorrow then my Social Foundations in Education exam to write on Friday then I'm done with classroom portion. Then I move onto teaching! I'm teaching a grade 10 Canadian History where I get the Baby Boom unit and a Grade 12 The West and the World class where we're going to be discovering Industrialisation, Restoration & Revolution then Nationalism & National Movements- seriously!

Hope all is well out there!
These photos are of Lily at 15 1/2 months old playing with her train set. She makes the most awesome sounds as she 'chugga chugga chew chews' around the kitchen!

Well my studies are calling me, will update later! Cheers, PPS

Despite our hectic lives we were able to enjoy a great week! Today Lily had her first attempt at colouring and I think it was a success! We've set it up so that she only sits at one place where she gets to use her crayons and paper (with hopes that this will minimize future unsolicited wall art!). She loved feeling the crayons and was intrigued with how they 'left' something behind when they were used :-) Lily LOVES the book series featuring the Backyardigans so here is a photo of Mike reading Lily her newest addition.

Last night Lily had her first attempt at chopsticks - it was a riot to watch her try to imitate Mike!

Earlier this week we were guests of Lily's daycare for a family chili dinner. She LOVES her chili. The first time she had chili at the daycare she had FIVE bowls! At the family dinner she just had two!

The next two weeks is my high season for assignments and exams so I'm making myself scarce - this means a lot of Daddy/Lily time!

Happy 15 months Lily! We had a fabulous weekend up north as we celebrated Johnny's 10th(!) birthday surrounded by family! What a great day! The little one in costume is 4 year old David! The big one ;-) is 38 week pregnant Liz! Then we've got Johnny blowing out the candles to his Darth Vader cake!

We spent today trying to cheat time in an effort to regulate Lily's schedule as today was 'fall' back day for the time! So instead of getting up at 7:20 as per usual she woke up *early* at 6:10 a.m. :-( She is now getting ready for bed at her *regular* time - let's home she doesn't get up at 6 again! Enjoy the pics!
