Happy 12th Birthday Donald! It was on the 28th but we had the family party in Beeton on the 31st. Donald really likes SpongeBob so Mom made a cake and Mom & Liz decorated it. It was a money cake (of course) and was four layers of alternate chocolate and vanilla!

Most of the birthday party was spent outside at the park at the end of our street. It was Lily's first time on a swing, on a teeter-tater and eating twigs :-)

Lily is LOVING her independence these days - so long as Mom is within arms reach! She likes for us to hold her hands and have her stand.

Broccoli was not a hit! We had to combine it with cereal to make it even remotely acceptable.

Liz is five weeks pregnant here. Baby will be either Sarah or Simon Peter (not Peter as a first name)


Back at the house Uncle Anthony was checking out the static on Lily's hair. She was oblivious to the science taking place.

All in all I think Donald had a great party. Today Donald and five friends are going with Mike and Anthony to play laser tag!
