Eight years ago today Mike and I met at David and Leeat's wedding! 8 years!

Okay, gotta fly as it is bedtime for Lily. It's her first day of daycare tomorrow, so I'll try to get some photos up from our AWESOME trip to Quebec!

The time has come for us to say Farewell to Beeton! Last week we had some friends over to help us say aurevoir to the place we've called home for the past 51 weeks. We have begun our packing with the bulk of the packing taking place tomorrow. We move as of 8 a.m. on Wednesday August 15th and hope to be in London for 2 p.m. Not sure how long we'll be offline but we're hoping to be back up and running by the weekend.

Here are some photos from our farewell party. The little boy in the yellow shirt is 8 month old Kaiden, son of Donna and Drew Beauchamp. The little girl in lilac is 4 month old Prue, daughter to Erin and Dustin McAllister. The little girl in blue is 8 month old Cora, Con and Anthony's daughter. The kid in the green/orange/white jumper is our 12 month old Lily. The bald guy is Jeff, he's Michelle's husband, and their 5 year old daughter Erynn. The little itty bitty guy in the black and white photo is one month old Gabe, Michelle's son.

We had a good time but it was hard to say good bye, again, to my friends but we're looking forward to London and all that it has to offer. Check back in a few days and perhaps (no promises!) we'll have some photos. PPS

Two weeks before we move, and Beeton opens up a waterpark! Lily enjoyed watching the other kids and only sometimes getting wet herself! We didn't know it was open hence why I was unprepared and my baby went naked!

This is our 100th blog posting! It's funny as it is also the day before our Baby turns one! Tomorrow, Lily Rosemary Szala will celebrate her first birthday! WOW! I visited the different postings on the blog and I am overwhelmed with how quickly this year has gone! I have to admit that I've really enjoyed myself! Lily has turned into a curious, healthy and most of all HAPPY little girl and I'm so very proud of all that she has done and am excited to think of what this upcoming year will bring us.

Today Lily and I hung out in the garden. I hope you enjoy the photos half as much as she enjoyed the peas!

I love this photo as it shows the size of Lily's hand in comparison to a pea pod. It's fitting that her nickname is Lily Pod!

Mom is mourning the loss of her garden as she will be leaving some of it behind for the new owners.




This is a photo of Lily in the kitchen this afternoon. It was HOT here and she sought respite in the fridge! She also found the grapes there, so I had to cut some up for her!
