BabySzala: July 2008

At LOOOOONG last, I have sent off chapters 1 through 4 to my supervisor for his consideration. This has been a long time coming, and a lot of blood, sweat, and tears went into this, and it looks much better than it did before. I can only hope that my supervisor feels the same way.

Sorry for the non-Lily programming, but Pamela deemed this to be "bloggable" material. I'll have another segment in the near future on medical information.

Happy almost Wednesday!

Just a few photos to post as its been hectic here and my camera is seriously dying! For my birthday Mike bought me a digital camera book so we can research to figure out what we really want!

Mike is finalizing his first four chapters to be sent off to his PhD adviser which is HUGE fun news! We'll be sure to keep you posted.

We had the great pleasure of being guests at a high school friend of Mike's, Darren Smart, this past weekend. Mike and I enjoyed beautiful food, music and company while Lily hung out at a B&B with my parents (thank you again for babysitting!

What a great birthday! Mike took Lily and I to Delta Armouries for dinner tonight then we went to Marble Slab for ice cream! What a fantastic time! (and yes, I'm sporting a new hairdo and Mike shaved his beard!)

Happy 141st Birthday, Canada!

We've had a fantastic weekend! It started with staying at the Lake on Friday, followed by Katie's birthday party on Saturday, then hanging out at the Lake on Sunday with the grand finale of a day at Rondeau Park with Karen (friend from Teacher's College), Dave & Ava!
